John Pavlick was only sixty years old when diagnosed with mesothelioma in 2008. John devoted his life to his family, faith and country.  After a courageous four-month battle, he succumbed to this devastating disease.

The Pavlick family is committed to the fight against mesothelioma.  In honor of John, we hope to raise awareness of the disease as well as funds to aid research.

What is Mesothelioma?

Mesothelioma is a rare form of cancer that often occurs in the thin membrane lining of the lungs, chest, and abdomen called the mesothelium.  The disease affects almost 3,000 people annually in the United States.  Virtually all cases are linked to asbestos.  This malignant disease progresses quickly; most victims die within two years of diagnosis.

The Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation

The Meso Foundation is the nonprofit collaboration of patients and families, physicians, advocates, and researchers.

It is a resource of hope and support for patients and families, educating them on the disease, helping them to obtain the most up-to-date information on treatment options and to connect with meso treatment specialits, and providing them assistance, emotional support and community with others.
